About the Friends

The Bloomingdale Public Library was brought to this community because of the Friends of the Bloomingdale Public Library organized in 1974. To learn more about our history, check out our story here.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Friends of the Bloomingdale Public Library is to work in partnership with library staff and trustees to promote the use of library resources by residents of the Bloomingdale community and to help raise funds for services the library provides.
