Members – The Friends members participate in quarterly meetings and committee meetings as needed to support our fundraising efforts, which include the semi-annual book sale.
Volunteers – We also support Bloomingdale Public Library (BPL) events and recruit volunteers for these activities, in addition to the fundraising events.
The Friends of the Bloomingdale Public Library are hosting the Fall Book Sale this September in the library’s lower level Meeting Room A/B located at 101 Fairfield Way, Bloomingdale, IL 60108.
Gently-used Books for Adults & Children, Videos, DVDs, CDs, Games & more! There are no restrictions and we now accept MasterCard & Visa.
Event details Buy books by the bag for $7/bag on Saturday, September 19 • 9:00-4:00 p.m. Buy books by the bag for $3/bag on Sunday, September 20 • 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Donations Book donations will be accepted 1 week before the sale. Starting Saturday, September 12, you can donate hardbacks, paperbacks, best sellers and classics, DVDs, CDs and games to the Library for the Sale.
Discount Make sure to receive your $1 OFF coupon when you donate books the week before the sale. Good towards your Saturday purchase.
All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library which supports the Bloomingdale Public Library programs and improvements.
